San Francisco was a treat!
Stevey and I stayed in the Omni luxury hotel for a whole week, alone....no children..... together....just us.....sorta like newly weds.....lone man and woman...etc.
I missed the kids on day 2. Life is definitely more rich and exciting with children to share it with, but this alone time was good too.
Our first night in town we drove down the coast to watch the sunset on Stinson Beach....very romantic and loved it. We ate a late dinner at a local dive where I think they just nuked my pork chop...mmmmm!
On the second night we went down to the Fisherman's Warf and Pier 39 to see Alcatraz, the sea lions, and EVERYTHING else cool and exciting down the on the bay. LOVED this!
We ate sandwiches on delicious sourdough bread and ate soup from delicious sourdough bread bowls at the famous Boudin Bakery.
On one of the days we saw this Ferrari car and Stevey needed a picture of it....not sure why...(jk)
This is at the Rainforest Cafe where we got a bunch of souvenirs for the kids.
Driving home on Saturday we detoured through Lake Tahoe and on our way in we passed Squaw Valley where the 1960 winter Olympics were held.

To sum things up, we did a lot of shopping and site seeing , but we were so sick of carrying the camera around that we didn't get too many pictures. The Friday evening before we came home, we went back to the bay, Pier 39 area and then walked back to the hotel....that was the best.
