Making My Mother Proud

For our FHE project tonight we are going to take cookies around to our neighbors and introduce ourselves (hopefully it won't look like we are begging for their friendship which we are) and you know do that whole thing.

I just sampled one of the cookies I slaved all morning over and it was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. I have made this recipe for over twenty-five years and it has always worked except for now.

The question....will I still deliver them? The answer is YES! And as of now I really don't care how disgusting they are. I am almost all alone in this whole city, megga pregnant, lonely, and pissed off. So enjoy my dear nieve little neighbors and hopefully they will be touched by my inabilities at cooking and offer to bring in some dinner!!

You are so funny, I am sure the cookies were not that bad. By the way, Zoie's little letter to Madison made me cry. She is such a sweet girl. If those Idahoan's are smart at all they will be knocking down your door begging for YOUR friendship, because your family ROCKS!

You crack me up! Calm down, take a few deep breaths and repeat 10 times or until you faint! Ha! The missionaries encouraged us to bake some cookies and take them around to our neighbors...I should, but I just don't want to bake anything. If you can do it pregnant, and with three other ankle biters I guess I will too!

Merry! Merry!

Okay, so we need a follow up on this story. How did it go? Did you make and new friends? Did anyone bring you goodies back? Hope your day got better!!

We did make the delivery, but I added some fail proof chocolate goodies and a craft with them and put it all in cute bags....at least they looked cute. We do like our neighbors and no dinner has been brought in so maybe they weren't too bad.

I'm glad to have an update. I was wondering how the whole cookie thing went. Are your neighbors in your ward?
