Favorite moments

I just love these moments in motherhood where you're...let's say holding a baby on your hip, answering the telephone while writing an appointment on your calendar, when your toddler says, "Mommy, look at me!"

Priceless...

Huh. In her defense, they don't put the suffocation warnings in toddlerese, so she didn't know any better.

My favorite part is that you had her pose for a picture before you took it off, now that is motherhood for ya.

The humor is that my innocent toddler is just putting the plastic bag on her head and oblivious to the empending danger....hence moms frantic removal of bag, but then deciding to reconstuct the incident in a "controlled enviroment" for the photo op.....and then came the big lesson about not putting plastic bags over our heads. Am I the only one that this kind of thing happens to? You know, child suddenly has a large knife pulled from the dishwasher, or scissor she froud somewhere in the house, or suddenly deciding to climb up onto the counter to get into the medicine cabinet and then get a lid off? They do to me, and so I decided to document this one.
