DING, She's done!

Sunny Laken Conder decided to join our family on February 7, 2008 weighing in at 8lb 5oz and 20 and a half inches long! My water broke at 7:30am and she was delivered at 11:30am. We love her so much and are thrilled to have her a part of our family.

She has dark hair like Zoie did...

and several battle wounds like Dalton....she'll fit right in!

What's Going On Here!

I haven't been taking many pictures of the kids lately so the other day when Clover awoke from her afternoon nap and sounded really cute I decided to grab the camera.

She was playing with a little kitty and talking to it...

I was just snapping away and noticed her countenance start to change...

Zooming in to get a better look....I was still confused.

Then it (the smell) hit me, and she was back to being cute.

And playing with the kitty again...

The Injustice

The other Sunday night I walked into the kitchen to find that Stevey had made himself a nice bowl of ice cream with the works ie; at least five scoops of two different flavors of ice cream, sliced almonds, b-day cake, milk, and some Fruity Pebbles cereal. I then asked him if he would please get the kids and his mom their promised dessert portions for the night.

The kids came running to collect their dessert but then hesitated....

Only one small scoop of one flavor for each of them.

The injustice of it all!

Desperate Times Call For Desperate Measures

OK, so not having our baby yet has really become ridiculous to us . My first two came at 38 weeks with my water breaking and both weighed 7 and a half pounds. My third came at 39 weeks with my water breaking and weighed 8 and a half pounds. Baby four is now pushing 41 weeks with no end in sight and YES I am a bit concerned about her size....maybe I will become a member of the exclusive 10 pound baby club!

SO, I have decided to help things move a long and I have started taking the herb Blue Cohosh which should help with starting some contractions. My plan (which I have adjusted more times than I can count) is to have the baby by 6pm tonight!

Why so impatient you might be asking yourself? Well, we have had my mother-in-law here now going on THREE weeks to help out. Every morning it is becoming a little more silly and embarrassing when there is nothing to report (thankgoodness she is such a kind and patient person or I would really be sweating it and getting her hooked on the Twilight series has helped a lot too, but she is finishing up the third book today)! Next, my knees kill I can hardly walk, my groin muscle cramps constantly which drops me to the ground and I have litterly had to crawl to the life saving heating pad to stop the attack, not to mention the adrenalin rush it puts into my older kids who then start yelling "GET THE BIRTHING BALL!" I have to pee constantly, we think I have two ribs out slightly in my back, and my hips ache! SO enough already.

The Lord has really helped me through this pregnancy and has confirmed that all will be well etc so I figure since He created this herb, I might as well use it!

Wish us luck and I hope to post some pictures soon. By the way, I honestly think I am starting to have some contractions!!

A Few Of Our Favorite Things!

We Love living here in Idaho and here are a few of the reasons why...

*Reeds Dairy: This is the local dairy farm that gives you home delivered dairy products from their "Closed Herd" dairy cows. We never need to worry about steroids, hormones, or cloning and it is all delivered once a week to our home.

*9:00am school time. The elementary school my kids attend starts at 9am and ends at 3pm. The school day is shorter and not having to get my kids on the bus by 6:50am is heaven. We can stay up later at night and actually pursue extra curricular activities and not have to worry about the kids being so tired in the morning.

*Three recesses! The kids get to play outside before school starts, a morning recess, lunch recess, and afternoon recess. Idaho mandates a certain amount of outside play time that must be met.

*SNOW!! Enough said.

*Down East Outfitters. True we left one of like three Pottery Barn Outlets in the whole country, but DEO affords us a little taste of that. Also, having the modest clothing available is great too.

That's it for now...I need to go and make dinner for the family. So my friends, start making your plans to come and visit us here.

Quick Christmas Picts

Christmas Eve Snow Storm.

The affectionate Christmas day strangle hold.

The "Your the best sister in the world for getting me the Transformer toy" tackle.

Hey...it's the Cook's in PG, Utah.

My new cruiser bike from Stevey...it is the cutest thing EVER! Notice the Christmas tree. Once upon a time six years ago we bought this tree and it barely fit into the apartment we were living in at the time, I never knew that Christmas trees shrunk! We love this tree!

Stevey's gift from the kids...a Bronco with a singing deer on the hood!

Clover got her first tea set and was enjoying some light refreshment with her new dog friend.

Neighbor Gifts

So my cookie thing must have worked because we are receiving all sorts of really cute and creative neighbor gifts (sure, none of them are from those that received our cookies, but then the Lord does work in mysterious ways). They are really cute and I would encourage any of you to use them.

A box of Kleenex and a whisk with kisses inside

CUTE HUH!

There is another one that I didn't get a picture of and it was a bag of Nacho Cheese Doritos and some Sprite. The card read, " 'NACHO' typical gift from your 'NACHO' typical neighbors. May your Christmas season be happy and 'SPRITE' "

I am going to learn a lot from these creative neighbors of mine!

Our First Little Bit Here

Bundled up to go out. Clover seem to really enjoy the cold....seriously.

She is constantly in the pantry grabbing cereal. Notice the door knobs...they are levers so there is no chance of keeping her out.

An after school project. They did a really good job.

Let the whole truth be known. We could not keep the thing together.

So we decided to eat it several weeks early.

Our second day here in our new city. Cold and beautiful.

While Stevey and the rest of the family were relocating someone so generously decided to vandalize our other vehicle while it was parked at our friends house....Welcome to Idaho!

Dalton's first day of school included a slip on the play ground, a head to the play equipment, and a black eye.

So do you think it made the guys like him better because he's tough? Well he has friends so it must not of hurt him socially too much!

Making My Mother Proud

For our FHE project tonight we are going to take cookies around to our neighbors and introduce ourselves (hopefully it won't look like we are begging for their friendship which we are) and you know do that whole thing.

I just sampled one of the cookies I slaved all morning over and it was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. I have made this recipe for over twenty-five years and it has always worked except for now.

The question....will I still deliver them? The answer is YES! And as of now I really don't care how disgusting they are. I am almost all alone in this whole city, megga pregnant, lonely, and pissed off. So enjoy my dear nieve little neighbors and hopefully they will be touched by my inabilities at cooking and offer to bring in some dinner!!
